  • Do I need an appointment?
No, you can actually begin your consultation whenever you would like. This is because we offer a form of telemedicine called asynchronous telemedicine. This allows you and your medical provider to message back and forth similar to email, but still very secure and HIPAA compliant.
  • What happens after I click the 'Begin Visit Now' button?
You will be directed to Knighted Health’s Landing Page to begin your medical consultation via the Push Health Platform. It is very important you enter all requested information since it will be required. The provider will review your medical information and ask you questions to make sure this is a safe option for you.
  • What information do I need to have when communicating with the provider?
Your medication allergies, all current medications (strengths and dosing), and background medical history. You will be required to upload a picture of your government issued identification (ex. driver's license, passport) in your profile. The provider will also ask any other pertinent questions to establish if you are a good candidate for treatment.
  • Is this a subscription service? Membership? Or are there any recurring fees?
This is not a subscription service, membership and there are no recurring fees.

  • How does Knighted Health save me money?
Knighted Health is considerably more affordable than many other telehealth practices while still offering the same quality medications or better. We cut out the middle man and partner with the most reputable compounding pharmacies. This allows us to offer the highest quality medications, including many specialty medications that are simply not available at retail pharmacies at fair prices.
  • What if I want to change the medication after the visit?
You would message the medical provider for another consultation and another consultation fee would apply just as it would in person.
  • How does shipping work?
Shipping is already included in the price of the compounded medications. All the compounded medications we offer are shipped directly to your home with the exception of medications sent to your local pharmacy, which you would pick up at the pharmacy of your choice.
  • Where do the specialty compounded prescriptions come from?
The medications are delivered to you by specialty compounding pharmacies that have to go through rigorous testing. This testing happens on a regular basis. We partner with the most reputable compounding pharmacies to give you the best possible outcome. Our partner pharmacies are: Hallandale Compounding Pharmacy Enexia Compounding Pharmacy Red Rock Compounding Pharmacy Designer Drugs Compounding Pharmacy Boudreaux's Compounding Pharmacy
  • Does Knighted Health accept my insurance?
We do not accept insurance as a practice. You may be able to pay for your visit with your HSA/FSA. Your insurance will not cover (pay for) any specialty compounded medications from the pharmacies we use since these medications are mixed for you (compounded) and many of these medications are not even offered at retail pharmacies. We strive to offer many specialty medications at affordable prices without insurance. The exception to this would be any medication we send to your local pharmacy. Your health insurance may or may not pay for this medication. You are always free to call your insurance company and inquire about your plan yourself to make sure that this is a covered medication. We highly recommend that you do this first because this may be an excluded medication from your insurance plan's medication formulary. Coupons may be available on the medication's official website.
  • Does Knighted Health run prior authorizations (PA) for brand name weight loss medications?
Yes, a prior authorization is included in the cost of sending a prescription ($89.99). This fee also includes the consultation. We recommend calling your health insurance plan to confirm they cover weight loss medications such as Zepbound® and/or Wegovy®. Call the number on the back of your insurance card or log into your health plan's account to confirm coverage. Unfortunately, many health plans do not cover weight loss. Brand name medications such as Zepbound® and Wegovy® are costly out of pocket.
  • What is Semaglutide?
The same primary ingredient found in Wegovy® (Semaglutide), Ozempic® (Semaglutide) and Rybelsus® (Semaglutide). It is a GLP-1 analog. It helps with feelings of fullness, helps you to feel fuller for a longer period of time by slowing gastric emptying and increases insulin sensitivity. It is taken as a once weekly injection. Semaglutide was approved in June 2021, under the brand name Wegovy®, for the treatment of obese and/or overweight patients that have at least one condition contributed by their weight such as high blood pressure, type II diabetes, sleep apnea, or high cholesterol. If you are pregnant, will become pregnant or are breastfeeding, we do not recommend you take this medication. It is not known what effects (if any) it may have on a developing child. It is not known whether or not this medication affects birth control, but it theoretically could.
  • What is typical Semaglutide weight loss dosing?
0.25mg 0.5mg 1mg 1.7mg 2.4mg The dose is usually increased every 4 weeks, but some patients prefer to take it slower. The maximum dose is 2.4mg per week. Not all require the maximum dose. Many people do very well at lower doses. You and your medical provider will work together to find the best maintenance dose for your weight loss goals. This medication works best when slowly titrated up over time, which allows your body time to get used to the medication and mitigate possible side effects.
  • Is Semaglutide safe? Are there any possible side effects?
Yes, Semaglutide is overall considered safe. But, like with any medication, it is possible to have side effects. Most are considered minor and are resolved over time. Stepping the dose up slowly over time is quite helpful to mitigate the most common side effects. Some of the most common side effects people may experience include: nausea, diarrhea, decreased appetite, vomiting, indigestion, stomach (abdominal pain), fatigue and/or constipation. Please discuss any side effects you are experiencing with your medical provider. Tell your healthcare provider immediately and stop the medication if you get a lump or swelling in your neck, hoarseness, trouble swallowing, or shortness of breath. These may be symptoms of thyroid cancer. Please reach out to your provider immediately, or if emergent and severe, please call 911 or go to your nearest ER if you are experiencing these side effects: inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis), low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), serious allergic reactions, kidney problems (kidney failure), severe stomach problems, changes in vision, gallbladder problems.
  • What is Tirzepatide?
The same primary ingredient found in Mounjaro® (Tirzepatide) and Zepbound® (Tirzepatide). It is an analog that activates the GIP and GLP-1 receptors in the body. Tirzepatide works very similar to Semaglutide and by most is considered a little more superior for weight loss. It helps with feelings of fullness, helps you to feel fuller for a longer period of time by slowing gastric emptying and increases insulin sensitivity. It is taken as a once weekly injection. Tirzepatide was approved in November 2023, under the brand name Zepbound®, for the treatment of obese and/or overweight patients that have at least one condition contributed by their weight such as high blood pressure, type II diabetes, sleep apnea, or high cholesterol. If you are pregnant, will become pregnant or are breastfeeding, we do not recommend you take this medication. It is not known what effects (if any) it may have on a developing child. It is not known whether or not this medication affects birth control, but it theoretically could.

  • Is there anything you advise people to look out for while on Semaglutide or Tirzepatide?
We ask about a family history of any thyroid cancers. Indications of possible thyroid tumors may be a lump or swelling in the neck, hoarseness, painful or trouble swallowing and/or trouble breathing/shortness of breath. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms stop Semaglutide/Tirzepatide and tell your healthcare provider immediately. If you experience severe abdominal pain that radiates to the back with or without vomiting this may be pancreatitis. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms stop Semaglutide/Tirzepatide and tell your healthcare provider immediately.
